PHYSICIANS

Sanjay Bhatia, MD, FHM, CDIP
Chief Executive officer

Dr. Bhatia is dual board certified in Internal Medicine, and Hospice/Palliative Care Medicine. He is also a Fellow of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Bhatia has been in practice since 2005. While maintaing a fulfilling clinical practice, Dr. Bhatia has procured over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership and education. He has held multiple roles from National Medical Director overseeing quality of care delivered to patients across the country to C-Suite physician executive roles. Dr. Bhatia also served as CMO of Prime Healthcare-Lower Bucks Hospital, and Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Lower Bucks Hospital.  A few of his current roles include: Chief Medical Director of Statesman Nursing and Rehab, Chief Medical Director Kindred Hospital Philadelphia, Medical Director of Artis Senior Living, Medical director of Holland Center For Rehabilitation and Nursing, as well as Regional Medical Director of Compassus Hospice for the states of Pennsylvania and Ohio. Dr. Bhatia has received many awards in his career. Most recently in 2017 he was honored as a physician leader by the Bucks County Healthcare Initiative Program and also awarded by the American Health Council an award for "America's Best Doctors". Dr. Bhatia has published in medical journals and has been featured as a subject matter expert in various publications including journals and news outlets. In his free time, Dr. Bhatia enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and two children.

Syed Sajjad, MD
President

Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Graduated from Dow Medical College. He has been in practice for over 20 years in the Bucks County/New Jersey area. Dr. Sajjad manages medically complex patients in a variety of clinical settings. He most enjoys managing patients in the outpatient setting who have multiple medical problems. He has won numerous teaching awards in the field of graduate medical education. Dr. Sajjad enjoys traveling with his wife and children in his free time.

Prianca Naik, MD
Senior Associate Medical Director

Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Prianca Naik grew up in Buffalo, NY.  She attended Washington University in St. Louis and went on to earn her masters degree in neuroscience at Syracuse University.  She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine.  Dr. Naik is board certified in internal medicine.  Her professional interests include preventive medicine, improving physician-patient communication, and management of complex diseases.  In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and Marathi.  She enjoys photography, reading, and attending live music shows.

Luvkarnjit Singh, MD
Senior Associate Medical Director

Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Graduated from Rutgers University and went on to graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry Newark, NJ. He is interested in managing medically complicated advanced aged patients with multiple comorbidities. He is Assistant Medical Director at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, one of the largest subacute nursing facilities in the Bucks County Area. He is also Medical Director of Silver Lake Nursing Home and Associate Director of Compassus Hospice. In his personal time, he likes to spend time with his wife and children. Dr. Singh's hobbies include sports and traveling.

Muhammad Hussain, MD
Senior Associate Medical Director

Muhammad Umair Hussain an original native of Jacksonville Florida, completed his medical school education at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Afterwards he completed his internal medicine residency at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. His journey to medicine was not a traditional one, completing degrees in finance and economics. Changing his path to medicine after being in a life changing car accident. Muhammad has always been dedicated to serving the underserved population, taking time off prior to medical school to teach chemistry in the inner city. He also was involved in medical mission trips volunteering in Indonesia and Pakistan. Dr. Hussain’s professional interests include preventative medicine, hospitalist medicine, and medical education. Dr. Hussain is board certified in Internal Medicine. Although he just recently started practicing in the Bucks country area he has had nothing but positive experiences with the people he has interacted with even becoming Medical Director at Richboro Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  He looks forward to caring and serving the local Bucks county population for a long time to come. In his spare time, Dr. Hussain loves travelling and spending time with his wife and children.

Anton Furman, DO
Junior Associate Medical Director

A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Furman completed his residency in general family practice in the Greater Philadelphia area. His areas of interest include functional medicine, preventative medicine, and complex chronic care management. Dr. Furman is currently Medical Director at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as well as Bucks County Neshaminy Manor and is finishing his fellowship in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Vinodrai Kalawadia, MD
Staff Physician

Graduated in 1975 from VM Medical College in India. He completed his graduate medical education training at Mercy Fitzgerald and Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown in General Surgery. He has been a practicing physician in the Greater Philadelphia area for over 40 years. Dr. Kalawadia enjoys spending time with his wife and children, gardening and reading in his personal time.

Staff Physician

Graduated from B.J. Medical College, located in India in 1972.  He received medical training at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He has been a practicing physician in the greater Philadelphia area for over 40 years.  Dr. Patel spends his free time with his wife and children, jogging, and enjoys sketching and painting.

Robert J. Murray III, DO 
Junior Associate Medical Director

Dr. Murray grew up in Moorestown, NJ. He attended University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and went on to graduate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He became Chief Resident at his training institution where he participated in many leadership roles. Dr. Murray is interested in complex medical cases, medical education, and integrating a “whole body” approach to each patient. In his spare time, he enjoys international travel with his wife, finding new restaurants in Philadelphia, and bodybuilding.

Sapan Majmundar, DO
Junior Associate Medical Director

Dr. Majmundar was born in Hoboken, NJ and grew up in Monmouth County, NJ.   He graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University at New Paltz, where he also played on the Lacrosse Team. He attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack Palisades Medical Center in 2014.   Since that time, Dr. Majmundar has cared for patients in a myriad of settings; including outpatient, hospital, nursing homes, LTACs, SNFs, and has served as associate Director of Hospital Medicine at Atlantic Health-Newton Medical Center and is currently Medical Director for Brookdale Hospice. Dr. Majmundar is passionate about teaching residents, nurses and his patients. He has published in multiple medical journals and recently received Bayshore Medical Center's 2019 Physician of the Year award.  In his free time, Dr. Majmundar is an avid golfer and loves to travel with his wife and family.  Dr. Majmundar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Bishnu Poudel, MD, MS, MBBS
Associate Physician

Dr. Poudel completed his Internal Medicine Residency program at Saint Michael Medical Center under New York Medical College program. He is a graduate of Nepalgunj Medical College in Nepal and has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare and affiliated areas. He started his medical career in Nepal, where he worked as Medical officer in a rural hospital setting before entering the United States healthcare system. Dr Poudel earned his Masters of Science in health information management from the college of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. He has achieved certifications in various domains of health formation management and technology such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS and CCDS. He has also completed the Crimson Advisory fellowship for hospitalists. He is passionate about research, volunteer work and scholarly activities, and has been working on various research projects as well. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, travel and spending time with his family.

Dr. Rahman grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from State University of New York at Stonybrook. He then went on to Medical University of the Americas. Dr. Rahman completed his residency in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University - Quillen College of Medicine. In his practice, he is very interested in clinically complex medical cases.  In his personal life, Dr. Rahman likes to spend time with family and friends. His interest include cooking, photography, and traveling.

Yatin Patil, MD, FACP
Associate Physician

Yatin Patil, MD, FACP, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and hospitalist. He received his medical training at B. J. Medical College in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland where he also served as Chief Resident as well as co-chair of the Chief Resident Association of Baltimore. Dr. Patil has been in clinical practice for over ten years, and has held various administrative and leadership roles. Dr. Patil has been instrumental in the establishment of new hospitalist programs in several facilities across the nation. He specializes in collaboratively bridging the gap between medicine and technology, and is known for his unique ability to support an institution’s adoption of new technologies and techniques into practice. Additionally, he is passionate about innovation in healthcare to improve access, reduce costs, and improve quality of care for his patients. The recipient of several academic and clinical honors, Dr. Patil is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership.
He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. In his spare time, he loves to travel, read and experience new cuisines.

Mohini Patel, APN, MSN is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey. She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and received her Masters of Science in Nursing. She has over 10 years of experience in acute hospital settings, long term care facilities, urgent care and primary practice. She is interested in clinically complex medical cases. She is fluent in Gujurati, Hindi and some Spanish. Her interests include traveling, painting and spending time with her husband and friends.

He attained his Doctor of Medicine degree from American Medical University.  Dr. Jacob completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia and is a published author. He is passionate about, hospitalist medicine, geriatric medicine and preventative medicine. He is committed to empower and educate patients through collaborative care. He enjoys playing the guitar, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Ravindra Sangitha grew up in Edison, NJ. He completed a BS/MD program and was valedictorian for his undergraduate education at Kean University in Union, NJ. He attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He subsequently completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His interests include delivering evidence-based, equitable clinical care along with medical education and quality improvement. In his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world with his wife, trying new recipes, and reading.

Danielle Steinmetz, MD
Associate Physician

Dr. Steinmetz was born in New York City and grew up in Wantagh, NY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Union College, NY with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. Before starting medical school, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Study Coordinator for multiple clinical trials in their Thoracic Oncology and Immunotherapies divisions. She attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine and went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA in 2021 as a member of their inaugural
residency class. Dr. Steinmetz is interested in medically complex cases, hospital medicine, patient safety and advocacy, medical education and teaching residents. She is looking forward to continuing to serve the Bucks County community in her new role with FirstDocs. In her free time, Dr. Steinmetz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, the beach, trying new restaurants in the Bucks County/Philadelphia area, spinning and staying active.

Chetan Dodhia, MD
Associate Physician

Chetan Dodhia, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and completed residency at Bassett Medical Center (Columbia University) in Cooperstown, New York. Dr. Dodhia grew up in Toronto, Canada and graduated from Ontario Tech University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Dodhia has extensive Acute Care experience in the Greater Boston area. He held a number of healthcare leadership roles including Medical Director of the Division of Hospital Medicine (Lawrence General Hospital). Dr. Dodhia has a passion for medical education and was a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Dodhia has a special interest in improving quality of care through reducing clinical variation, preventable medical errors, hospital acquired conditions, and delays in patient progression and discharge. In October 2021, Dr. Dodhia and his family relocated to Buck County, PA. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and Society of Hospital Medicine. In Dr. Dodhia’s spare time, he loves to spend time with friends and family, travel, hike, read, as well as experience diverse cuisines.
